Rec Center Rental

Recreation Hall Rental Agreement

The Recreation Hall is available for rent to members of the Knife River Recreation Council for private parties or activities on days that it is not in use by the Rec Council. The facility offers a kitchen and bathroom and a meeting hall. An ice rink in winter and baseball and soccer fields and a basketball court are available in summer/fall. The facility is wheel chair accessible.

Rental of the Rec Hall is offered to current members only. There is a $25 per day rental fee charged over and above membership fees. A damage deposit of $50 is also required (make payment with separate check – which will be destroyed if not needed).

Rules of the Rec Hall:

• Sweep and mop the floor after use
• Leave the kitchen area clean, neat and tidy
• Throw shut off switch for electric water heater to “off” position after use
• Re-lock all doors (panic hardware can be kept unlocked by using allen wrench – found above the main door)
• Do not block exits
• Alert authorities of any night time activities (noise to be kept down after 10 PM)
• Alcohol allowed if all participants are over 21 and a peace officer is present

To rent the Rec Hall:

• Check the calendar for availability
• Call 834-2506 (or email acomb@frontiernet.net) to reserve and make arrangements to get a key
• Fill out request form
• Send request form and checks or money orders to the KRRC, P.O. Box 266, Knife River, MN 55609 for rental fee, damage deposit and membership fee if you are not currently a member. To check your membership status, click here.
