Membership
The Knife River Recreation Council (KRRC) consists of people who live in and around Knife River. Its purpose as described in the by-laws is “To develop and maintain recreational facilities and opportunities serving the residents of Knife River.” Funding for the activities and maintenance of the facilities come from membership fees, community fundraisers and allocations from the Lake County Recreation Board.
Annual membership fees are $25 for families and $10 for individuals. Your membership includes a reduced rate ($25) rental of the rec hall, free summer programs for kids, use of the facilities at the athletic field and Peterson Park, and knowing that you are helping to make Knife River a better place to live. These fees also help to defray the high cost of liability insurance coverage so essential for programming.
If you, your children or grandchildren enjoy the recreation programs and facilities and use the rec hall warming room, please join the 70+ families and individuals who are presently members of the KRRC.

Your Help is Needed!
Please consider taking a leadership role, or volunteering in one or more events planned for our community. The best way for these great events to continue is if everyone takes part.
Call any Board Member, or attend a meeting (3rd Thursday of the month) to volunteer. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
